92 POINTS - THE WINE INDEPENDENT
Medium ruby purple in color, the 2022 Cortada Alta Vineyard Pinot Noir bursts with bold notions of pomegranate, baked raspberries, and kirsch followed by hints of charcoal, wild sage, and underbrush. The medium to full-bodied palate is taut with ripe, expressive berry flavors and herbal accents, supported by grainy tannins and bags of freshness, finishing with great length.

93 points - WINE ENTHUSIAST
This wine is fresh and lively, with aromas of red plum, Bing cherry and dried sage. Other notes waft through, including Orange Pekoe black tea, strawberry, cranapple and allspice. Layers of rocky sediment and silky tannins bring it all together. Pair with pork tenderloin with chutney sauce.

THE PRESS DEMOCRAT
This pinot has a whirlwind of flavors. Cranberry, strawberry and sandalwood ride on crisp acid. Vintner Theodora Lee's dream of owning a vineyard took root back in the 1980s.
After saving money for two decades, she bought 20 acres of sheep pasture in 2001 in Anderson Valley and began developing her vineyard. "As one of the few African American women who owns her own vineyard, hope to inspire others to become vintners," she said.
