There is a significant signature to this bottling. Frequently, one thinks of Petite Sirah as a dense, concentrated wine, while the aromas of this one most certainly present a wallop of dark berries, blue fruit, Sage, and citrus on the nose. The flavors on the palate are subtle, with a mixture of Lingonberry, Blackberry, dried cardamom, and lively acidity. It is reminiscent of a claret-style wine with finesse and elegance on the palate.
